I met Jessica and Henry at the Pismo Sand Dunes for this glam-inspired desert elopement. These cuties hit it off the moment they met, which was so evident by their chemistry in person! They’ve been together for four years and raise four children together.
Henry proposed on the 4th of July two years ago to their favorite song in front of all of their family and friends—how sweet is that?! They still love going out on dates, watching superhero movies, spending time with the kids of course, and traveling the world.
Jessica wore the dress that she was planning to wear for her wedding reception. The sequins added just the perfect touch against the bare desert-like landscape. It was such a pleasure working with these two and they are the definition of a beautiful love. They officially tied the knot a few days ago and couldn’t be more exited for them.

Fun fact!
The original wedding altar that was supposed to be used for this shoot were these gorgeous bushes stripped of their leaves. The city where we live torn them up from our neighborhood so my fiancé and I grabbed two of them, trimmed them to perfection, and drove them 3 hours south to Pismo. We unloaded them outside and headed to the dog beach before our shoot to play with our pup.
We came back to find that the gardeners had come, thinking they were waste, and shredded them to bits before dumping the remains in the trash! We were so shocked and also panicking that we wouldn’t have an altar for this shoot. Gio quickly thought to grab our golf cart and drive it up a few streets to the golf course where there are a ton of eucalyptus trees. We found so many fallen branches and grabbed as many as we could to recreate the original vision and it turned out even better than we would have imagined!
